EMU Plastics Quality Assurance


Our quality assurance department uses precision measuring equipment to maintain continuous quality production. The following tools assist us in meeting dimensional verification and PPAP(Production Part Approved Process) which further ensures quality.


Conventional Equipment:

  • Digital Calipers
  • Height Gauge
  • Digital/Dial Indicator, Pin Gauges
  • Standard Block

Special Equipment:
  • Optical Comparator w/ Digital readout
  • Micro Vu
  • Axis Vision Co-ordinate Measuring Machine

Tool Room

Our state of the art tool room provides for preventative maintenance using a computer generated schedule.  This assures that machines are serviced based on a statistical analysis.  We use real time computerized data for preventative tool/mold maintenance before and after each production run to assist with mold longevity.  Any problems that we discover are immediately reported to our customer for remedial action.
 

Molding Machines

EMU Plastics' 40,000 square foot climate controlled plastic injection molding facility houses state of the art ENGLE machines that include ten single-shot injection machines ranging from 60 to 500 tons, two 65 ton two-shot injection machines and a vertical injection machine.
